Prom Blog

Hello and welcome back to the best blog known to man. Today is a rather unique day. You may be wondering "Andres is a man of no boundaries. A man molded in the heart of a volcano with a name given by god. Everyday is unique and extraordinary for him, so why on EARTH(I made a pun because it currently is Earth Day) would he name today unique?". Well, thank you but please dont flatter me. Today is unique because I will be going to my first prom today.

    Now, its no surprise that women crave the love and attention I have to offer but I decided to settle on one. The woman I will be going to prom with is a friend of mine named CiCi. I do like the name CiCi because there is a pizza buffet placed called CiCis Pizza and I used to love it so much. They had astonishing Hawaiian Pizza and delicious deserts such as brownies and cinnamon rolls. Anyways, shes a pretty cool woman.

    Next, I will tell you all how I tamed the lioness I will be going to prom with. Not that it was hard though of course, I mean with all my traits and qualities. I had to go major since she is still in college and im only a Junior. She already said she would go with me since we are friends and all but I had to go all out. I bought her a beta fish, a fish tank, fish food, fish water, and neon gravel since I know she likes neon stuff. In ancient Greece time, the mystical and exquisite beta fish was seen as the symbol of the heart and prom so I had to since I thought it would be nice. Then, I wrote in a poster "Roses are RED, Violets are BLUE, There are many FISH in the sea, but I want to go to prom with YOU". That was cool. Of course she got really excited and all and said yes again. I honestly kind of wanted to keep the fish since I spent near $40 on it but I was not going to ask.

     We are going with a light purple theme. She is wearing this marvelous and beautiful light purple dress that looks amazing and I will be wearing a black tuxedo, light purple vest, and a light purple bow-tie that not only compliments my eyes and skin tone, but her and her dress as well. Honestly, on a scale from 1-10, we would probably be a 50. Maybe next week I will blog about my experience at prom which I assume all of you are eager to hear. Ill keep you all waiting(;. Inside The Mind of a Dragon

This blog, I will be giving you guys a trip inside of my mind. Thats right, all those questions you were thinking are about to be answered. First off, yes. This luscious hair was bestowed upon my tender head by the gods themselves. But I am just distracting you all from the real topic at hand. Not only was I blessed with exquisitely blessed with good looks which has the power to make every female on the planet faint, but I have also been blessed with fantastic fishing skills. 

        I have been fishing for the past week straight. Honestly, I have been fishing since spring break even started. It took a little while for me to discovery to godly skill, but when it was found there was no stopping it. In fact, sometimes I even think Poseidon himself has been guiding me to his most glorious fishing spots. I have one nice little rod which does quite some damage, an amazing cane pole, and one deep sea fishing rod. 

       Usually, I go fishing with a few of my mates. Yesterday, I took my mother and brother fishing. My mother has never been for some odd reason so I had to do this to show her what true beauty is. Also, me and my brother have not been fishing in about two years so it was quite a historic event. Obviously, they were not as good as me but oh well. 

        Now, onto the next question. I bet you all wonder what kind of fish I catch. Well, I usually catch some amazingly gigantic fish. I catch fish so big that people usually think they are dreaming. The sea monsters I catch are definitely hand crafted by whoever the god of crafting ridiculously big fish is. The last fish I caught was so big that I caught it yesterday and I fed 20 whole families with it and they even had leftovers. Its ridiculous the amount of fish I catch, its like thanksgiving feast but with fish.

LNCS Blog 2016

I go to Lake Norman Charter School. Lake Norman Charter is obviously a charter school which I am a fan of compared to public schools. Our school is pretty compact so we all know each other and we all get along very well for the most part. Also, our classes are smaller than a typical public school class which I benefit from because I know I will have a better understanding of what I am learning.

   My math class is pretty cool. I like math because it just sort of makes sense to me. I did not always get math until I got to eighth grade here at charter. I am not embarrassed to ask questions if I ever have any because I know my grade will improve. My teacher is really kind and she really cares about us and wants us all to succeed. At the same time, she knows that she can only do so much and we have to be intrinsically motivated to do good in her class.

   My chemistry class is also really sweet. In all honestly, I have always hated science and every sub-topic science has. This year though, I really started to understand what I was doing and I became a fan. As a matter of fact, I almost moved up to physics honors. I did really well and most of that is due to my chemistry teacher who does a terrific job at teaching. Also, the class is not afraid to ask questions so we all have good grades. 

   Our administration is really good too. Our counselors really care about us and they do everything they can to help us out in whatever way. Our new principal is also probably the best principal ive ever had. Hes really cool and nice guy but he also knows he has a job and he balances those two tremendously. Lake Norman Charter has the best staff this year compared to any other previous year(not that they were previously bad). 

   My favorite class without a doubt is team sports. Team sports is probably the class I enjoy the most. Im probably the most athletic person in the class. Actually, im probably the most athletic person in the school. If its a sport, im game. Sometimes, I think im too good and I just have to act like im not so other kids can have fun too. Basically whenever I have a chance to score you can bet I scored without a problem. My main sport is volleyball. Volleyball is typically the sport I go off in. Right now we are playing basketball and my team is undefeated. Honestly its more than likely because im on the team and I just spread good vibes. I never really pass the ball because im so good so everyone just passes me the ball and when they dont I just steal it and make 3s. Theres only one place I reside and thats in the scoreboard. I live for the thrill and if there was an AP Team Sports I would take it even though it would probably be too low for me. My coach is a pretty big guy, hes seen as a rather ripped individual but I can still body him without a problem. I can probably body anyone ever. One quick tip for those who want to be good at sports: Always assert your dominance to everyone else in the class. Ill leave you all with a picture of me doing what I do best. Frame it if you want. Blog Post 3 Q3

This week in class, we had to create a World of 7 Billion video. We were explained that the worlds population is constantly increasing and the world might not have enough resources to give to us if we keep going at the rate were going at. After being taught that, we were given several subtopics and I decided to do my video on deforestation. I did my video on deforestation because it seemed like something logical to do. Deforestation is really bad for the planet because it takes away resources needed not only by us, but by other animals in the ecosystem. It is especially bad in the amazon because it is home to many tribes who have lived there for centuries and now it is being taken away from them when they already have their own cultures, languages, and families.

   If I had to change anything about my project, I would most likely just do another voiceover. The voiceover I recorded was decent but I don't think it was the best it could have been. I knew I could have done better but we had to start the video rather late and it was due relatively quick. Other than the voice over, I think my video was fine.

   Like I previously said, the timeline did not really work out in our favors because we did not have a lot of time to finish the video. It was super stressful working on the video knowing it had to be the best it could while under the limit. It definitely brought down the potential of the video which is pretty stressful.

   I also had to work on the video individually rather than in a group which had pros and cons. The pro was that I had pretty much complete control of it and I could have taken it anyway I wanted which was nice. The con was that I did not have a bunch of creative ideas helping me out so there was not a lot of time to brainstorm. I like working on videos in groups just because its a lot easier for everyone and the potential for the product is a lot higher than working solo.

Ada Jenkins/Passion Project update

This week, I have been working on my service project. This time, I actually decided to work on the music. I have been composing a few rough drafts that I might use in the project. Sine they are rough drafts, I will still need to go back and edit them all to make sure they sound the best they can. Hopefully, all of the drafts will be finalized by next Friday. Due to the fact that it is on my ipad, it will be fairly easy to dedicate some time out of my day so I can edit the music on my personal time.

   I also will try and lookup some music online that I also could potentially use on the video. I feel as if it would be better for me if I make my own music for it, but I also feel as if I need to do what is best for the video and cause, not whats better for me. It could be a little hard though because I need to be able to use the online music legally of course. Plagiarizing is not an option for me at all so that also is a factor.

   Apart from that, I have been working on a video for Ada Jenkins. Ada Jenkins is a local organization that helps out families with pretty much whatever they need. They do have some requirements that must be met for a family to be eligible though. However, it still is a really cool place to visit and im very happy to be helping them out. The staff there are really sweet and kind and they love working there which is awesome! They love helping people out and I think that is definitely a necessity for what their job requires. Its great to know that the people who go there are in good hands.

   I also have a new blog of course. My old blog was signed out and it would not allow me to sign in unfortunately. This new website will be where I post up my blogs now so thank you all for understanding and im sorry for the confusion if there is any.
